Canada How to replace license plate lights?

I know this question was covered before. The problem is I tried to twist off the housing of the lights but it doesn't move. Should I use force? I am afraid I will break it if I twist too hard. (2002 Camry XLE)

I can not take the linen off because of the trunk handle. Anybody has done this please give a hint. Thanks.

License plate lights;

Open the trunk, stick your fingers in the vicinity of those little black plastic circle thingies, stick your fingers between the lining and the actual trunk itself and slowly pry. The little plastic thingies will fall. Keep track of them and dont lose em'. There is like 9 or so of them.

Make sure you're twisting it the correct way to remove it.
