The manual trunk release will not work on my car. The automatic button on the key works fine. I tinked around with the trunk and found that the cable is not broken. No parts appear to broken. The emergency latch works just fine too. There is no key hole on the outside trunk, so that's not a factor. Any ideas? Please help.

Really, no key hole outside the trunk? I thought all Camry models have outside key hole.

Its at the dealer getting the recalls fixed. I'll feel like an idiot if it has the keyhole, but I remember looking for it and thinking that was weird it didn't have a keyhole. I'll post this evening. Almost positive though.
I think i figured it out. Maybe using the key in the drivers door. Turning three times one way to lock, and three times the other way to unlock. I bet thats it. Ever heard of that?

As others mentioned, you probably put turned the key to the right which is in valet mode and prevents people from entering the trunk via latch on driver side. When you get the car, insert the key into keyhole on trunk and turn it to the right so that the key slot is vertical. Than turn it to the right again and it will pop the trunk open.
No and every car has a keyhole on the trunk. Just like a keyhole on a drivers door.
