I'll get the fenders done, but i don't want any negative camber. Maybe 8.5 +35 in the front, and 9.5 +35/+20 in the rears?

Any input?
They'll fit, and with that tire set up.. 225/30 is quite thin though..

Might need a little fender work, a shave or pull, or buy a set of camber bolts.

I definitely don't want to be driving with negative camber. I don't like the look of it, i can deal with a minimal amount, but i rather stay away from it.

I want to keep it safe with the tire sizes, but do you think i can go a little thicker? Thanks for the help CK.

That offset is really low, so the wheel is going to be sticking out, taking away room for the tires, should you want them to tuck under the fender.

stick with 225/40 or 235/35 or something close to that.

So i would need to stretch the tires for the wheels to fit I'm assuming. If the wheel is sticking out wouldn't that mean that i would literally rub all the time since I'm on Coils? Sorry for all the questions CK, i really appreciate your time to answer them.

by wheel sticking out, i meant it is very aggressive, not literally sticking out lol.

Yes, when you stretch the tires, you make the sidewalls sit at an angle, like this

Nevermind the rolled fenders, but because the sidewalls are at an inward angle, when your suspension travels and the camber kicks in, it makes the tire fold under your fender easier.

if your sidewalls were squared, and straight up then when the camber kicks in, it might rub against the fender.

even if your tires were not stretched, or squared, camber will still give them a better chance of tucking. so it's up to you, stretched tire + no camber or a little meatier tire + camber to fit.

Didn't think i would ever get to the point where i would be deciding on factors such as camber/stretching, I always wanted to be straight forward, but i think i mild stretch and a bit of camber can be pulled off nicely.

Thanks CK, I'll be reading your replies for the next month and a have to keep convincing myself to go all out instead of staying so conservative. Thanks again

No problem.

Just find a size tire that has recommended maximum size for a 9inch or 9.5" wide wheel. then it should fit/stretch nicely.

like that picture above it 235/40 (recommended maximum size is 9.5)
on a 18x9.5 and it "looks" mildly stretched but is within manufacturer's spec.

also different lines of tires run sizes differently, i.e. falken tends to run a little narrower, hankook is true to size, and federal's run bigger.

that's a lot to think about, but remember you have the internet at your disposal!

Hello, I'm new new to TN. I was wondering how these wheels would fit on my 04 Camry, I'm getting tein solara springs too. What would I need to do to give my car a hellaflush/aggressive look.

Yea, i learned a lot from your replies since you know what and what doesn't fit our cars specifically. It definitely beats reading numerous posts on random forums, though it didn't hurt since i did gain some knowledge by browsing random sites.

Can't wait to get my wheels, I'll have them by the end of January!

After reading about the common 6th Gen offsets people are running it raises a question. I see a legit gallery picture of a 6th gen camry tucking tire on 20x9.5 +40 rears and 20x8.5 +35 fronts. It is one clean setup but from what I have been reading should his wheels in the rear and front be hitting struts? Or is this very doable?

Aloha gang!

Question. Will I have to do any fender work if I wanna put 18x9.75 +20 all around?

Another one. What's an ideal tire size for those? 225/40 or 235/40? Or 225/45 or 235/45?

I know that i have been changing my mind about wheels and such but i have decided for sure that i am going to go with the work vs-xx 19x8.5 +32 for the front and 19x9.5 +29 for the rear. i am looking for a mild stretch and would like to go for a flush look.
