oem halo projection headlights with hid kit??

This is my first post. I just purchased a 07 camry tuesday. I want to get the oem halo projector headlights on ebay and an aftermarket hid kit. i know there were a couple of posts regarding this question but it was never fully straight out answered. all i wanna know is if i buy the oem halo projectors headlights will i be able to install an aftermarket hid kit. im not really understand why people are saying it may or may not be possible because a bulb size is a bulb size and an oem is an oem.

Congrats on your purchase and welcome TN! Why not buy an HID kit and the halo rings separately, in which they can be installed in your OEM housing? Less expensive as well.

welcome to TN

First of all, there are no OEM halo projector headlights for the camry. The one you are considering buying is purely aftermarket.

That being said, the chances of your lenses and projector being of OEM quality is almost nill. I'm pretty positive that the projectors these halo projectors come with is pure garbage and will give you a much lesser output than stock projectors.

But if you must, the same bulbs should fit into the headlights. If anything, you can message the seller and ask them what bulb size these projectors house. I'm pretty sure its H11 though.

The best thing to do is buy the rings yourself, and add a HID kit and rings to your existing headlights. Good luck.

No such thing.

What you're buying is called the "BMW Wanna-be Halos",.

+1. There is nothing more that i hate other than using parts from other cars or trying to make it look like another car.

Just go simple HID kit or retro and you'll be better off.

I have Halos the aftermarket ones from ebay.

Honestly, the projectors are kind of crappy.
The light doesnt come out in a uniform fashion, instead you
see like 2 U shaped light patterns (one for each side) and the side beams
are kind of weird, kind of like a \ / instead of more curved.
The front cut off is shaped like _-_-_ so theres like 2 parts that are higher.
Adjusting(you too) the headlights are needed.
After a while I just got used to it, but in the beginning i was like wtf
I'll take some pics later.
But I like the halos

so do you think that a aftermarket hid kit would fit those?

show us link of the ones u want. no matter what bulb u can get a hid kit in there. just a matter of how good output will be. why not buy a set of headlights, buy some halos or have someone make em, and do a retrofit while your at it. shouldnt cost more than 500 with all parts included. pm me if interested.

these are the ones i want. 500 is a bit much. as long as an hid kit will fit im pretty sure im fine. but i remember when i first got the car i was driving at night with no cars coming and it looked very bright with a long distance and that was without the high beams on!

thats including labor and parts. camry has decent lighting if you have fogs on... with em off/no fogs it sucks unless ur running h9. anyone who has a retro loves every day of it including those who have had pnp kits.

that headlight set has same projectors as i have in my spare box... squirel spotters suck and output is usable... if you don't want to do retro then take apart your stock headlights and install some angel eyes in them or ask someone to make some demon/owl eyes. will look much better than any aftermarket kit's halos.

first off, thats way too much chrome. looks like too much is going on in the headlight. buy your own set of angel eyes and put it in yourself. if you know how to use an oven and screwdriver, you can do it yourself. if youre afraid to mess up your headlight, buy a used one on ebay to practice. i bought one for 23 dollars on ebay. and finally, it says it will not fit SE models. the picture provided is an SE model. you trust that seller?
