sup.

You can go to almost any tint shop and they'll do it for you... Or you can buy the tint online and do it yourself (which you will mess up). The reason why is because the curvature of the headlights make it extremely difficult to heat/stretch the tint correctly.

And with the HID kit, you can easily just get it online and install it yourself (takes less than 5 minutes).

Or you can just wait until the meet, and enter in the raffle for a free HID kit and we can install it for you right there on the spot lol.

Are those even smoked? I think they might just have black housing, it doesn't specifically say the lenses are smoked/tinted. And to me it's kind of counterproductive to tint your headlights when you want HIDs, since the reason for getting them is to have brighter headlights. I would just paint the housing black and get HIDs.

Your best bet is to do it yourself or find someone you know (or someone from here) to do it. You have to heat up the housing (using oven or heat gun) to separate the lense. The most difficult part is usually gluing/sealing it back together to make sure they don't get any precipitation in them. There's quite a few threads on here that explain exactly what to do. Just search for black housing.

Edit: This is for a GEN 5 Camry, but it gives you the idea of what you need to do.

DIY: taking apart headlights (56k: 20 low resolution pictures. you decide)

FYI Tinting of headlights and taillights can be illegal depending how dark it is since it diminishes output and visibility which is a safety hazard for both the driver, other motorists and pedestrians.

There has been plenty of threads with aftermarket headlights. Quality is poor and the projector is crap. As Peach mentioned, get HID kit, cover squirrel spotter and be done.

This description seems eerily familiar... Tim and Kenny should know what I'm talking about... Hint Hint - Tint Thread

Anyways, Sam... It's not that hard to blackhouse your lights... read thru the DIYs and try them out... or just pop in HIDs and get eyebrows
