I want to have the DRL's to be on at the same time the headlights are on.
Has anybody done this? Any special way to accomplish this?
BTW I have an 08 SE.
I do have fog lights. Have you noticed some cars (Lexus GS i.e.) have the low beam on, then next is the running light (not high beam) at the same time as the fog lights.
It was me....having more than 4 lights (not including parking/signals) on at all times. is illegal.
When you have you high's on (which are you DRL at a lower wattage) your headlights stay on but fogs go off, and when you flick you highs off your fogs return to the on position.
Best way to have what you want (DRL and Fogs on). Do the independant Fog mod.
Then you can turn your fogs on or off whenever you feel.

I actually wanted the DRL on at the same time with the low beam, not the fog lights.
Or if you want to sacrifice your foglights and bypass the need for a switch, you can use the power going to the foglights. But you might need to change out the resistor.
