Netforcer's Road to the East Coast Mega-Meet (Rims and Bumper installed P#82)

So I've already said that it's pretty much pointless for me to start an update thread because I've had my car for 4 years now, and I've done pretty much all I've wanted to do with the car...

But, we have a huge meet coming up in June, so I've decided to start this thread to keep me motivated to go from my winter mode to show ready.

So come along on a ride with me, on the road to the East Coast Mega-Meet .

Here's the list of what I need to do:
03/24 - Post 082 Install 6.5 gen front end again
03/24 - Post 082 Mount tires and install the rims
Extended lug nuts... preferably red, or neochrome
Find and install i4 SE rear bumper
05/15 - Post 263 Install coilovers
04/24 - Repaint and install UR strut bar
Repaint the calipers
03/28 - Post 130 Fix small dent on passenger door
Clean, detail, work on engine bay
Detail the car
Photoshoot
Puddle lights
Foglight mod

Please feel free to suggest for the list.. If it's crazily feasible, I may do it

Rims and front end will be done this weekend

Since a thread is useless without pics... Here are some

Front end to go on

6.5gen headlight nicely packed in storage

18" SSR Integral GT-1's are for sale... Very lightweight at 19lbs a piece. Tires and centercaps not included... PM me if you are interested. I don't want to make this into a for sale thread

18" SSR SP1 Professors... These are the wheels going on my car, but also for sale... Tires can be included if wanted... Centercaps included, just put on fresh decals, comes with SSR valve caps... again PM me if you are interested.

Megans just chilling... hahaha... Seen with axle-back that i've been trying to sell for 2 years now?... PM me, I'll let it go cheap... will separate if needed

UR strut bar

Just a shot of my third backup bumper... hahaha... all hacked up

HID kit... I just wanted the slim ballasts... surrounded by spare parts... hahaha

As you can see, I have the parts... just too lazy/have no time to install them... hopefully this will motivate me... so help my ppl

AGAIN, suggestions welcome... like I may do the DIY puddle lights that was just posted up

net,

Man you got a lot of stuff lol.. those professors looked like work meisters. what are the sizes? oh and the SSR 5 star too.. mang i think those would look good on my sisters prius V. to bad they wont fit not the same bolt pattern.

if i go to NYU for a convention next week, i'll be glad to meet up with you and shoot!

Yep... similar to the work meisters, but the spokes are bigger... for got to mention they are 3 piece wheels...

Professors 18 x 8.5 +35 5x114.3
GT1's 18 x 8 +40 5x114.3

Next week should be a good time for me as I won't be on travel... especially friday, I have no work... let me know

here's another method for puddle lights

http://tsx.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=667186

(ignore the wiring, focus more so on the mounting)

Hmmm... I actually wanted to do 5 since 4 looked too spaced out... how much longer are the camrys compared to the TSX? and the lights look more diffused on the TSX

Anyways... time to start planning... I had different plans for this =)

no clue, go to your local mall and scope one out and bring a measuring tape!

Only other mod that is usually 50/50 with most people are the LED lights at the front, usually for the DRL's like the benz and audi look.

Seen a couple nice ones on a mazda forum i came across but I cant seem to find it now.

I been looking into the puddle lights for a while. Might get them done by the meet, might not.

Make it happen, get that stuff on the car. I got a little something, something myself coming up next week, last part should be here tomorrow.
