Does my DRLs effect my HIDs?

I recently just got new xenon HIDs 8000k H11 on my 2009 camry le and i was wondering if me leaving my lights on AUTO with my DRLs on during the day that it could some how effect my HIDs by messing with the ballast or something.

thanks!

Nope, no affect at all... when it's on auto mode, during the day, the DRL's are on while the HIDs are off... when it get's dark, DRL's shut off and HIDs come on... they are separate lights, so nothing is affected

Keep it simple folks!

2 Different bulbs:

DRL uses High Beam bulbs
HID uses Low Beam bulbs

You're fine.

Yes I am sure... a lot of us members have HIDs and never come across this question or problem.

It shouldn't be flickering buddy, maybe during start-up, but after that it should be steady. Maybe u got bad ballasts, or connectors, or maybe another bad set of bulbs.

Mine works fine without a relay kit.
