Gen6 How was your experience returning car at lease end

I got a letter in the mail that my local toyota dealership is having a "Early Lease Termination Event" with No mileage, No reconditioning or disposal fees.

Im going to take advantage of this event as I am at 49,000 mile. What happens when I return my current leased car?? Should I expect any fees associated with returning my car under normal lease terms? Do I fill my gas tank full? Will I be charged for door dings? Usually what happens during the time I return my car? Do I have to wash the outside and clean the inside of my car??

btw has anyone else heard of a Totyota dealership having thie early lease termination event??

If you are leasing another Toyota you don't have to do anything.

If ur leaseing/purchaceing another car from them they'll be easy on you. I know my grandfather had 3 huge dents. One on the door. One on the fender. And one on the trunk. No charges.

DO NOT get your car professionally cleaned, fill the gas, fix minor door dings, etc! All that money is just wasted as they have to inspect the car and wash it again anyway before they sell it. In practically every case, they can do all the repairs for a fraction of what you can.

These "Early Lease Termination" events/promos generally mean that any lease-break fees are rolled into the cost of a new car. Be very careful to read the terms of the sale of your current car and the price and fees for your new car. Make sure you negotiate your new car the same way as you would if you didn't have this promo and get the best deal you can.
