I have 2.25" XERD Y-pipe on my is300. They said it'll gain 10 hp from just the y-pipe. people's dyno says 8-9 whp. I dont see any companies making the mid-pipe for the camry so i think u'll probably have to go custom.

Out of curiousity, instead of having one fabricated at a shop, could i theoretically buy this and have them weld the pipes to the Y?

yes something like that merger would work but you would need at least a 2.5" on the out going pipe since the mid section is 2.5" on our cars i believe.

replacing the y pipe would help out big time if your looking for more hp. its the single most restrictive part of the exhaust. i have heard that it also helps with raspyness if you also remove the resonator and cat. no one really knows how much whp ya get from replacing it but id imagine somewhere in the lines of around 10whp.

Im going to have to find out about removing the resonator as well if changing the Y pipe will help with the raspy sound. thats the only reason I havent done it already, not really down with that.
