There is a dead moth inside of the passenger side taillight on my 07 camry. I have no clue how it got in there, but it seems like it has been in there quite sometime.
It appears that there is another lens inside of the taillight, and in order to get this moth out I am going to have to bake the light and separate the outer lens from the housing.
Is this correct? Anyone have any experience in baking these lights to separate the housings?
Am I the only one wondering how it got in there in the first place?
Obviously if it got in without baking you can get it out. The only logical way is do what njerald said, try to get it out through the bulb hole. Did you change a brake bulb at some point?
