A few after shots of my 07 Camry SE detail

A few weeks ago we picked this car up from a local dealership. It is a 07 Camry SE w/ 28000 miles. It is a one owner car, and all signs show that every panel is still wearing factory paint. Overall the car was in great shape, but had some chips that needed touched up, and since it was on a car lot it had a nice amount of swirls, and compound in every crack and crevice.

I did not mess with any before pictures because I was crunched for time, and when I started I did not have any sunlight.

Here was the process.

-Wash with wolfgang car wash (love the smell) (3 bucket method, one for tires)- Blot dried w/ waffle weave microfiber
-DP wheel gel cleaner on tires/ wheels/ and wheel wells
-Clay with zaino clay and wolfgang lube
-Then I went over each panel once with a white sonus pad and menzerna P106FA (this removed 85 or so percent of the defects, and being crunched for time I called this good)
-Wiped down car with a mixture of alcohol and distilled water.
-Washed car again with wolfgang car wash - Blot dried w/ waffle weave microfiber
-Wiped car down with wolfgang quick detailer
-Applied wolfgang 3.0 sealant
-Used pinnacle plastic and rubber protectant on all exterior black plastics and trim (really deepened the color of these)
-Dressed tires with wolfgang tire shine
-Looked at car for awhile while the sealant was curing.
-Wiped off sealant about 45 min later, and was amazed.
-Took all these nice pictures.

For a sealant, the depth and wetness are incredible.

And some whole car shots.

I am very happy with the results, and the products listed. I have fallen in love with the paint on this car, and cannot wait to do it all again so I can achieve 100% correction.

Oh and in case you are wondering about the car in the garage...

LOL How did you guess?

Actually, from the moment I bought the GTO new in 04, until about 3 months ago it saw nothing but zaino. But I decided it was finally time to try something new so I bought a bunch of wolfgang and pinnacle stuff. So far I am glad I did.

Nice detailing work and nice goat !!! I buy most of my detailing stuff from autogeek also. I really like my Portercable 7424 XP DA Buffer with the lake country pads. So I can appreciate a nice detailing job when I seen one. BTW what do you use for a buffer ???

Wolfgang, Pinnacle, DP, and Diamondite are all owned by Palm Beach Motor Accessories which happens to own Autogeek as well. That's why in all their tutorials and things you always see them recommend and push those products. And if you bought microfiber towels from them I guarantee you bought Cobra, which PBMA is the sole importer or them in the US. Pinnacle makes a few nice products, Wolfgang's Fuzion wax is really nice, but I'm not a big fan of DP or Diamondite. Autogeek has some really good sales and they carry so many brands, but a lot of times you can find better sales and pricing at other smaller sites who specialize in carrying just a few brands, but if you want to buy products from several different brands then you would have to order from more than one site. That's where Autogeek has a big advantage.

On topic though, your GTO is looking awesome.
