Camry Engine Build Thus Far

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to inform some of you on a pretty big project me and my genius friend are set out on. As of right now my camry has attracted alot of attention people are always asking me questions about it and the giving me that same look "is that a camry?". But as we all know our 2.4l isnt built for speed or power mainly just some fun torque in 2nd and 3rd gear. So i decided to change that, i sat down and did alot of research with my friend and without getting into to much detail i plan on building a high compression 3.0L 4 banger all motor of course and once we have perfected that i will be slapping a supercharger on it. As of right now this is where we stand with the build.

-Bore and stroke the bottom end (again not getting into to much details yet)
-Bore the head
-Blueprint and sleeve the block.
-Bore the intake manifole
-Bore the throttle body
-Scion tc heads and eliminate the cat
-Stage 2 scion tc Cams (same engine)
-Knife edge the crankshaft
-Piston (this has been a constant battle finding the right now but we are leaning towards 2jz ge high comp pistons)
-AEM Chipping
-bigger fuel injectors

plus more i dont wanna get into crazy details just yet because there are no guidelines really for what we are doing.

Also i have spoke with some guys in Thialand and ive got a quote on the TRD
Aurion body kit, still looking for the headlamps, tailights, hood and back and front fenders parts look like they are interchangable.

I deff want to keep you guys updated and put picks up as i get them as for now here are some pics (below) of what my baby looks like now.

Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks!

Actually no its my stock hood, and yes sir that is a TRD dual exhaust it sounds sick on my 4 banger but that will all change if a single exhaust will give me bette results on the dyno ill go to a single

Very nice. Looks like mine but without the wheel setup and I have LED tails.

Is there fogging or something wrong with passenger side headlights? I'm loving the wheels. What are you dropped on?

thanks man i will be going lower in the front or adding more rubber on my next set of tires to take up some of the gap im dropped on solara teins ill most likely go full coils soon and i actually put my head lights in the oven to open them up and completetly black out the inside so sometimes when i take a car wash some of the fog stay inside but u just take the xenon bulb out for a night and it goes away.
