Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Ok, so I put my new wheels on yesterday and wash/waxed, so of course it would rain today...
Obviously the stance is far from perfect..I need to get my hands on a fender roller and go down about an inch up front, maybe a little more in back..Right now the wheels look tiny haha...It may not be for everyone, but I dig it. (headlights are a little hazy, some other crap, this is the first wash of the year, so sue me..) Sorry for the huge pics, these are from my mom's camera...
And a little stance preview..
I guess this will serve as my thread for the future since I haven't had one yet..
I thought you were selling these wheels. Glad to see you didn't as they look great on your Camry! I've used an Easton aluminum baseball bat to roll a fender before. Just food for thought!
I'm sorry I don't have the TRD gen6 wheels that I know you love so much.. I prefer nicer things...Stance is bushly right now.
Thanks everybody else, and untitlejk - the wheels aren't linea corse, they're Rial Daytona Race, the good stuff..haha
Uh, what does your wheels have to do with TRDs? There are good designs and bad designs and people have different opinions of them, obviously. You can like them, which is all that's really important, but obviously you should know that some people will hate them, like me. Those things look like plasticky caps to me. Did you just post this thread with the disclaimer that only people who like them can validate your purchase?
And I think your stance is perfect as it is because the wheel wells are perfectly shaped to the wheel shape with minimal gap, as opposed to being so low it actually covers the top of the tires and kills the shape of the wheels. But I might be in the minority here.
Yea agreed, except I thought his older 5 spokes looked perfect as it was.
don't take what i said as an attack on you, the internet is serious business you know... the TRD wheels I had were cheap and not really the look I was going for...
I certainly don't need anyone else to validate my purchase... haha...cheers and no hard feelings i hope.
