Need some Gen 5 info

Heyyyyyyy.

I need some information. I'd like the measurements on the inside of the little pocket pictured below. Length, width, and depth of the INSIDE. If someone wouldn't mind running out to their car with a tape measure, that would be great. Thanks!

The car pictured is a 2006 V6 SE.

Thanks I appreciate it. And yes, thinking of maybeeeeee putting electronics in there. (Uniden BCD996T probably.) Maybeeee some switches to the left of the cig lighter. Just doing a little research.

W x H x D = 6 1/4" x ~4 1/2" x 6 1/4"

Height is iffy, as it slopes towards the back, plus the door makes it harder. Unless you remove the door... you'll gain prob another 1/2" - 3/4" but will lose the concealing factor of the door.



i've got a spare upper compartment garnish that i can take a picture of, but here's the measurements from the front: W x L = 2 9/16" x 8 5/8"

there are some clips and attachment points on the back of that piece that you will have to consider when drilling your switch holes.

as you can see, i've already drilled a hole for a switch. distance between those middle clips is about 1"

yes, there's a decent amount of space, but the ducts and keyless entry computer are nearby. so mounting things in that space is not easy. though the space underneath the compartment is where i mounted the aftermarket remote start brain.
