Gen6 2010 Camry squirrel spotters

Has anyone successfully added HIDs to a 2010 Camry without doing an entire retrofit? It appears that the squirrel spotters have changed and are not able to be bent up without bending the entire bracket? Any thoughts? I have my front end torn off and would appreciate any feedback.....

Thanks in advance!!!!

I mentioned that in my conversion thread a while ago. It is impossible to cover/fold the squirrel spotters without taking apart the headlights. I've had HIDs on the 6.5 front end for 2 seasons now and I haven't been flashed yet.

The 2010 lights are different from previous models I also have hids from DDM no flashing me and my cousin just visited with his 2008 with HIDS everyone was high beaming him. I think they actually improved 2010 lights. Also I noticed my lense does not have the orange peel look on them, and my cut off line was better then my cousins 2008 so im not covering any spotters lol.

I proved you wrong remember?

You can do it the same way as it is for a Gen 6. Just don't be stupid and do it ONLY ONCE, otherwise you'll bend it so many times that it'll sheer off the brackets on the side

EDIT, they aren't brackets either. They're just flaps holding itself to the real bracket. Its like they didn't want us to cover the squirrel spotters or anything...bastards...HID's or bust for me
