Rabbit's UPDATE **thanks Peach**

Hey just wanted to throw an update out here & get some opinions.

Gold 18X8.5 & 18x9.5 XXR 962's +35 wrapped in Falken Ziex 235/40 & 245/40/18. Tein S-Tech Springs, Blacked out headlights (left the running light chrome due to philly cops) Gold Toyota emblems color matched as close as possible to the rims, SE Grille & Chrome shift ball with rolled shift boot.

Ok I like to be smooth, a huge believer in less is more when it comes to a car & I have my share of trophies so I am a firm believer. I needed something to set the rims off so I went with the gold emblems. I painted the rear piece around the license plate satin black. At 1st I wish I didn't but I am thinking maybe a black factory spoiler & maybe a rear window spoiler some of you guys (Peach & Kenny) are running will blend it in. The Camry is a CE (bottom of the line) so the interior there is only so much ya know ? There is quite a bit of chrome accent in the stock interior so I figured the chrome shift ball would keep with the theme. PS : I have to adjust the shift boot some more so that isn't fully done yet but you get the idea.

I love opinions good or bad so unload people likes / dislikes ???

Car is not even close to done but then again are any of us ever LOL? So give me some idea's while your looking & Thanks

By the black and gold i'd say you were a Steelers fan lol

Did you just have those springs installed and they haven't settle yet? Thought Tein dropped 2 inches all around???

You def need a black OEM spoiler to match the chrome piece you painted black.

Get some fogs with yellow housings to go with the gold emblem.

Def smoke the tailights

Love the wheels man

GL with the rest of your mods

Wow did you make your own hand-break lever or do manual tranny Camrys come with this? I've always preferred proper hand-break levers instead of that stupid foot brake pedal that most cars seem to have these days...

How come you get a hand e brake i hate the foot ones lol.
Besides that the car seems to be on a good start. I would suggest slam it tint your windows get some fogs and medium light tint your tail lights it may help blend the trim piece you painted. This is just my personal preference not everyone has the same taste mabey its cause im younger and into those things also not into gold on cars the rims are ok but don't like the emblems xD

Thanks for the honest opinions so far, Yeah the e-brake is factory ... must be because its manual.

I just installed the springs last weekend so they haven't settled yet. I wanted to go lower but the roads here in philly are beyond horrible & the offset I have is sure to rub on anything lower.

I agree gold is risky but if anyone seen my into I did in the main forum ... gold is kind of my signature although I know it isn't for everyone. I was very nervous about doing it on a silver car but I don't think it came out too bad.

Smoking the tails is on the to do list as is fogs & tinted windows ... need more $$$$$ LOL

Not a Steelers fan .... Gooooo EAGLES

black, since headlights black.

if it was up to me, i'd trade my headlights with the stock SE headlights and get a regular chrome emblem =)

and i would take the black trunklid and change it back to stock =D

Yeah i agree with peach change the emblems to black and the trim piece you painted back to chrome or color match it. I really don't like gold rims unless its on a black or white car cleanly done but the silver on your car if done right can be pulled off with gold rims. Good start i wish i had money to mod my car just everything i want is so dam expensive.

Rabbit, the rims with gold color look fine but I recommend you use standard or chrome emblems. Gold emblems on a silver car don't look very smooth in my opinion.

looks good...
Color match the rear trim, black out the rear emblem
Color match the front emblem backing and black out the front emblem

props on the manual... and the side e-brake comes with all manuals, regardless of trim
