2010 Camry XM Installation...

Does anyone know which parts I need to get the XM connected in my 2010 Camry LE?
I just bought the car and have an active XM account. If I can use the stock radio rather than use my XM device that would be great. It seems no one uses the Toyota part #. I can call the dealer but some first hand information would be more helpful.

You've got to have a HU that has the SAT button first. Then there are two parts you might need: one is the fit kit p/n PT546-33070, then the tuner assembly, p/n PT546-33070. (these are the parts for a 2007 Camry... I was given the impression that all new Camry's have the antenna on the roof, so you shouldn't need that. The antenna comes down to a pigtail connector in the trunk, and the fit kit connects up to that and from there to the tuner and the radio accessory harness. XM doesn't let you transfer service, or at least that has been my experience. You;d have to cancel service on your current radio and re-up on the Camry tuner if that's what you want to do.

HTH, sorry if I'm mistaken on anything.

dnossirb it would be best to call the dealer because you want to make sure you get the correct fit kit.

pp6000v2 close but no cigar. MOST camrys have the antenna connector on the drivers side c piller and you have to route under the rear seats and connect to the reciever in the trunk. your probablly thinking of corollas which have all connectors in the trunk.

I've got the correct part #'s now. They are 86180-0w032 and the fitment kit is pt546-33100.

I asked the dealer if they had a copy of the wiring diagram or if they knew where these parts installed and of course the parts guy knew nothing and the service guy knew even less. The instructions they sent me said '10 on them but they look a lot like the '09 and earlier where you have to tear the whole car apart to run the wires. I have a feeling the install is very simple in a 2010 Camry.

I found two connectors in the left side of the trunk does anyone know if these are the only connectors I need. Or will I seriously need to tear the car apart to install XM.

I don't know anything about those two connectors you speak of. I have an 07'.

As for "tearing the car apart"....its just a few panels here and there that need to be removed...It's actually pretty easy.

Radio, Door Panel, Rear Deck & Tweeter removal for CE, LE, SE & XLE DIY; 56k Beware

I would first test out those connectors that you have in the trunk.

All you are doing is plugging in the sat radio antenna. If your account is active, then it should turn right on for you.

I just bought an 2011 Camry for my Wife and ordered the XM parts, and wanted to know if anyone has pics of the install location of the XM module. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
