A few questions questions, first, what the $&@# does HDL mean??? I have read all the posts about the HDL but nobody has actually said what the acronym stands for. Exactly where is this located in Home Depot? Do I just walk in and look for the rubber isle, how big are the pieces and how much cutting is involved???? I can also assume this can be found in Lowes as well which will save me some gas.
yes i said before i got mine in lowes. it's the garage door liner for wooden doors. mine is made by frost king. its called garage door bottom seal. says nail on ruber 2 1/4" wide 9' wide. just measure and cut length to our lip and then attach with screws and double sided tape. just need to decide if u want longer or shorter side in front. model is black G9.
It just dawned on me! You scraped your lip, but yet want to add more of a lip. Which makes the front sit even lower, so you are basically going to rip the HD lip off the car once you scrape again. Seems like you don't know how to drive a lowered vehicle. Just my observation!
Would have helped if I knew HDL ment Home Depot Lip. My search of "HDL" gave me 3 results. I assumed it was Home Depot Lip until I saw people saying HDL lip which confused me because you wouldn't say Home Depot lip lip.

Anyone who drives a lowered vehicle is going to scrape the bottom now and then, don't be so presumptous. I've scraped it twice and both times were unavoidable. It's a fact of life and comes territory. In the small chance I scrape again, which will happen no matter how careful I drive, I wan't to have a little protection.

No problem! Just remember when going into shopping malls drive in at an angle, don't pull all the way forward when pulling into a spot, when parallel parking stay away from the curb about 6". Little things I do to keep the car lasting as long as possible.

Trust me I do all of that and I always back into spots that have parking blocks if I can't avoid them. A moving truck was parked on the side of the entrance to my apartment complex. That side so happend to be the side I use to pull in and out because it has a lesser dip then the right side and I won't scrape on it. I had to use the other side and I don't need to tell you what happend after that.

yup, it'll just gonna tear it right off.
I don't see the need of any of this stuff anyway, cause it'll just gonna make it even lower.
