I just got my 2007 Magnetic SE 2 weeks ago. First day i had it i debadged the rear. Yesterday i taped off my taillights and tinted them. I tried to remove the tailights without having to take off the bumper, but i couldn't get them out. I didn't want to deal with taking the bumper off so i just taped them off. You guys let me know what you think!
Theres a clip on the taillight. You can take out the tails by breaking the clip and not removing the bumper. Or you can loosen the bumper without taking it completely off and still be able to wedge the tailights out. Thats what I did when I swapped my tails for the LEDs.

A few people's clips didn't break but several other people's did...
Loosening or taking off the bumper is recommended.

I did read in one of the threads that those who didnt care and wanted to break the clip said it was a pain in the arse to break.
I suggest people go the extra mile and extra process and do it correctly and remove or loosen the bumper. When a mistake happens, you'll regret it. Theres no time machine to redo your mistakes.

x2 DC, just take off the bumper. I did it when I switched my tails and it was so easy a few bolts and tada
Tint looks great OP! For anyone working on the taillights, just remove the bumper. I don't know what I am doing but it still only took about 15 mins extra to figure out what to do.

I agree.

The product is called nite-shades i beleive.. It was really easy to do, just takes a few extra minutes to tape it all off but not that bad. I would rather do the spray then change to the smoked led tails for the money.
