Joe Tom's 2007 I4 LE, finally started modding...

Hi Guys,

***if anyone in the Philly area is interested in trading a set of SE 17 inch wheels with tires, or any other 17 inch options, let me know! I have an idea, but need to get some smaller wheels, and I'd rather not roll on steelies.***

My name is Joe, I've been on the site lurking for a while, and finally have some pics of my car with my current mods. I have a long history of modding, from subaru, to nissan, and even honda, but since getting married, I needed something reliable, and that my wife could drive. Now that the weather is getting nice, I figured it was time to start tinkering with the Camry.

After searching through the aggressive fitment thread, and other threads with flush, wide, poking setups, I really felt compelled to go that route. Not a big fan of stretching tires, so I did keep some meat on all four corners (245/40R19 all around). I took Kenny's idea of the G35 coupe rims. 1, because I've always liked them and 2, I had a set sitting in my shop for 3 years collecting dust, haha. I chose H&R springs, after reading all about the TRD/Eibach uneveness, and having used Tein in the past, I felt it was time for something different. Keep in mind, as much as I want to go lower, I don't want to destroy the car, having to drive it daily. I can say so far, I'm very happy with my decision. Here are some pictures:

Future plans include 50% tint, rear deck spoiler, HID's, rear sway bar, and front strut tower brace. I'm also contemplating tinting my rear turn signal/reverse lights, and leaving the rest of the light red. Let me know what you think!

Man, I have to say to the people using 19s... it makes your ride height seem really high, even with lowering springs.

Those are very nice looking wheels though. Nice use of what you had

should also black out the emblems and think about a lip kit on it. otherwise good start.

MJZ... mine doesnt sit high it's mostly the 245/40/19 that make it sit high.

Great start. On the tails, i think you should leave the white and tint the red, like a lot of us have done, but than again you might to wanna be different.

Must be nice to have a set of G35 rims laying around...looks nice. 50% tint is too light.

Welcome to TN, the car looks nice, tho it kinda "sits" high like the others said. oh and about the tails if you are going to tint them go with all red but the revers like lammy has ( one of our members) and i had, you wont regret it.
