Technical bulletin 02404?

Im having an issue with my 2003 camry 4 cylinder automatic. It intermittently comes up with the P0420 check engine light...its will run a week or so then it comes up again....I had it cleared at an autozone recently but inspected the next day and they failed it, saying it had to drive 250 miles after the battery was disconneced. It gave a message stating: NOT READY FOR INSPECTION. They said drive it and and come back after 250 miles.

Does anyone have the technical bulletin about the false readings error?

its number 02404

Below find the compilation I have in my files.

I hope it will help,

Sam

P0420

Look up TSB 05-027. You probably have the "bad igniter
connections" problem outlined in that TSB.

There is also a Safety Recall out on your car (97 Accord) for the throttle cable, item
# 99I002000. Might not be causing this problem, but it's worth checking to
see if this has been addressed.

Toyota

TSB No. EG013-04

Quote: “Some 2002 - 2004 model year Camry vehicles equipped with the 4 cylinder (2AZ-FE) engine may exhibit a M.l.L. ON" condition with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0420 (Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold, Bank 1) in the Engine Control Module (ECM) (SAE term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM). The ECM (PCM) logic has been modified and a redesigned catalyst has been provided.
NOTE :The repair procedure in this TSB is similar to TSB No. EG013-04 "Excessive Sulfur Dioxide Odor." The recalibration of the ECM (PCM) should only be performed ONCE.”
