Let's try this again - Q about 07 front end bushings
Please don't move this post as it is NOT about aftermarket spring, struts, lowering, etc. This is a question about known wear items on the front end of the Gen 6 Camry and if there are known issues.
Gents, I have an 07 with about 50k on it. I notice abnormal wear (aggressive feathering), increased tire noise and weird handling characteristics recently (dartiness on the road - grabbing imperfections and more feedback through the suspension than it used to have). This didn't happen all at once, but over time.
Now based on my experiences with suspensions and alignments - this "feels" like a toe issue; worn bushings allowing the toe/caster to change while driving.
Has anyone had similar experiences or knows there is an issue with anything on the front end?? I used to have an old ES300 and the Lower Control Arm bushings were known to wear and cause the same issue(s) as I describe. I replaced the LCAs and the problem was solved.
If there are technicians on here or anyone that knows, please offer your input. I am prepared to replace what I need to, but if there is a known weak point, problem bushing, etc. it would be nice to know.
