Hit & Run

well some idiot hit my car and took off. He dented up my rear passenger side bumper. But before he took off I took a picture of his plates. This all happened back in the end of Feb. I have no idea on whether he got caught or not, although I dont see how he couldnt since i got his plate number. I was gonna go through my insurance to get it fixed but with my my deductible it would cost me more than the actual fix.

Anyway I just took off the bumper myself today and pushed out the dent. Its not totally pushed out but it looks way better than it was. This weekend im gonna take it out again finish fixing it by heating it up and pushing out whats left.

Good on the pics! Funny as hell to actually see the tags of the person that did it. Wonder why nothing has happened as far as the tags go. Did you file a police report?

Glad to see that you've managed to take most of the dent out. Like was mentioned above, did you file a police report?

I witnessed a hit and run in a parking lot a couple weeks ago. This guy in a black FJ Cruiser backs up and hits a white car, damaging the hood with the tire that is mounted on the back of the FJ. Him and his passenger just drive off without a care in the world. I wrote his plates down for the owner of the car.

yea i was surprised that the paint didnt crack at all, its still perfectly intact.

yea i filed a police report, it took over a month to get but I still dont know on what happened with the guy.

I would actually pay the $30 fee to find the guy's house and pay him a visit with a few cops. Hit and run is a felony.
