Has anyone had to have their steering rack replaced? I had mine replaced today under platinum warranty. My mileage..............52,000 doesnt this seem a little early to be replacing the rack? Maybe it is all the potholes here in California. It was leaking through the seal.. It is a 2004 Camry 2.4 liter

thats very early but its possible under extreme driving conditions. thank god for warrenty. thats a costy repair.

The seering rack gets a mention in the Quebec Magazine Protegez-Vous, (Protect Yourself) as something to have checked before you buy a used 2003 to 2007 Camry, so I guess it can be an issue. The potholes in California cannot possibly worse then ours with freeze-thaw cycles heaving up our roads. Glad you had the warranty.
