5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
This is my first post here, and hope the start of many. We are looking at an 08 Camry LE with upgraded factory Rims. The car has 7,000 miles on it and is clean as a whistle. The dealer is asking $17,000 for the car.
My questions are:
1. What do you think is the best price I could get for the car?
2. Anything I should know about this particular model to look for? I know there has been some issues with recalls with Toyotas, however, it does not deter me from buying a quality vehicle.
If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
should get a new one with 0%APR compare to a used one and end up paying more for it(interest over 4-5years) . I dont know about where u live but right now its 0%APR around my area. check around then decide on which one is better.
Those are very good prices. I had been doing quite a bit of research and not even Consumer Reports "bargain basement deal" is anywhere near that price. Is this a regular car lot/dealer? I just don't understand how these prices could be so low.
+1 i wouldnt go more than 17k out the door. I would show up with 15k cash and see what happens. 7k miles however low is still a used car.
oops. I just noticed its a 2008...I agree the 17K is not a good price. LE's with very low miles are priced around 15K or lower depending how many miles. I have seen some with 15-10K miles go for 14K price range.
I'm in Dallas.
Pat Lobb Toyota got special: brand new camry LE $17600. Huge sign in Frisco on Preston rd.
probably with no alloy wheels, but hey-Brand new!
I've seen 2009 with 40K for 14.5-15 grand-at small stores and shopes.
