Not only do you need spare headlights (if you do not want to modify your current ones), you'll need relay harness, ballast, bulbs, lens and projectors. If you're looking for HID parts, go to hidplanet.com
All the information you need can be found on the forums.

Is it true that the MDX projector is the most easy one to work with?

The HID Solara are the easiest ones. Then comes the MDX as you have to make a notch on the bottom of the projector. I'm going to be doing my retro with MDX projectors in the next couple of months. If you want to hit some junkyards let me know I'll meet you since I live in Central, FL.
easiest is the d4s solara headlights. d2s mdx headlights need the notch at bottom and d2s maxima 09/10 need a bit of redrilling and trimming of the bracket. u can fit also some rx afs, s2k, fx, fx-r and maybe tl.
good luck finding some solaras. i have 2 sets in my possession right now(1 is on my friends car, one is going to be going into a set of headlights in a few days) and am half way into having a 3rd set. they are super hard to find for a reasonable price but i can help find. just pm me.

No wonder those headlights were going for so cheap on ebay, i was bidding on some, thanks for the heads up
Would any of these do? sorry guys, im new to the whole retrofitting thing, ive read some of threads but its still not really clear to me, i just dont want to do plain plug and play hid
The 07 Solara HID headlamps have 9011 HIR bulbs for high beams. Very easy to modify this bulb to fit into the Camry's 9005 slot. Huge improvement over the 9005's !
