Shift Solenoid?

ok i got two codes that are

P0770 Shift solenoid E
P0765 Shift solenoid D.

Can anyone tell me what this means and how to fix it?

Since you pulled two codes at the same time, I am going to guess that two solenoids did not fail, but rather you have an electrical connection issue somewhere upstream, so start by checking connections to the transmission and work back to the ecu area.

thanks I just changed the fluid and reset the engine light and the sound is gone and the car drives smoother than before. I'll think about getting a flush done.
