Helloo. I am new to the forum. Got my 2011 SE Red a month ago. It currently has the alloy 17" Toyota rims which do look...nice...but I think I want to swap them out for something...better lol. I have a few buyers already ready that want the rims for their camry LE's and XLE's. My dilemna is that I don't want to lower the car I want to keep the factory springs...soo...I need some advice on what size rim to get. I have seen pictures of 20"s but idk if that would work without lowering...would it look to high? what kind of tires would I need?...If the 20s dont work out i saw some nice 19" TRD rims at the dealer yesterday. If I went that route what tire should I get so that I don't get a bad gap (which I hate). Has anyone tried any of these scenarios on their camry?...any help is appreciated!!!...
Hmm...ok...ten feet off the ground...definetly don't want that (nice quote). That comment raises 2 questions...what kind of money do you think I could get for my 4 Rims with tires...tires have 900 miles on them as well as rims?...any ideas? Also (princess peach) how much do you think lowering it would set me back? (For the springs and the labor) (how difficult is it to do it myself?)
Ok....I got a friend who lowered his 350Z?...that might work. Ok then...next question I guess would be if I did lower it...would you recommend 20s or 19s? I don't want rubbing...and I also don't want the tired to be sending rocks up the side of my car cuz it stiks out too far (SE gets no mudguards )...so what would you reccomend 19 or 20 and what tire and drop?
You don't think 18s would look kind of small?...why do you recommend them cuz of rubbing? Know of someone who has dropped 18s that has a pic I could take a look at (side view preferably)
If you pick a rim without a lip (see my pic above) 18's are fine. Mine are 19's with a lip and look like 18's. Sorry if that confussed you.
You need to find a style you like, That is more or less personal preference. If you lower and want to keep a nice ride and no rubbing (depending on the wheel specs) i'd go with 18's like Peachy said.
i recommend 18s.
drop it on tein springs
and i can't recommend a tire unless i have a wheel and its specs that you're interested in =)

even if you were just on stock springs, a good tire combo will still look decent on your car.
but i'd recommend a drop. IMO, i'd just keep the stockies on =)
