Well finally got all the goodies in and proceeded to my friend's house for the install. This guy made this job look so easy,no way I could've tackled this job by myself. So I got new struts all around from KYB and new front mounts(backs are still like new).No other components were needed b/c they were in good shape so saved some money there. After the job was done we took it for a ride, the car drove and felt like it was new again. She drove straight and true but might have to get the the front wheels balanced, felt alittle shimmy at 65-70 mph.All in all it worked and saved some money w/o sacrificing safety. If the mods want to move this thread to the suspension sticky please do so.Pix can be seen here.... http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v4...stall/?start=0
Believe me I thought about droppin' it but this car is my daily driver(84 miles round trip 5x)and the streets in the boros are rough on the suspension hence the new struts at 60k.Now it's like riding on a cloud.

Good job Lou. I told you it was easy to do. In the end to take them off the car its only 6 bolts, 1 bolt to take off the spring with the spring compressor and done.
I will NEVER drive through NYC again, after i took GWB to get to Pawels house a few weeks ago, i don't wanna do it ever again. I was in 1st gear on the lower bridge, there was traffic cuz of me going side to side trying to avoid potholes and all kinds of other shit. And i didn't even have my rims on.
I could only imagine what u went thru.I dont know how u guyz do it,really.I cringe everytime I hit a pothole with my stock setup imagine u guyz with the drops.Oh well time to break in these struts.
