Can you recommend spark plugs?

I am going to change spark plugs on my 2007 camry 2.4l. I was wondering, which is the best brand/model? I noticed NGK are popular, is "OE Laser Iridium" better or "Iridium IX"?

ANy other thoughts? My priority is fuel efficiency.

Toyota uses the best on most things when they design a car. If it's not the best it usually doesn't matter (with toyota) because the rest of the car is designed around it.

In the case of spark plugs.......................stock is best on a Toyota

The last post says laser uridium. Idk? I've never had this car, I have read hundreds of hours of tech articles and repair manuals about Toyota's that's why I recommend stock. The last post also recommends stock.

I would just go to the dealer. They will give them to you over the counter, more than Kragen but not so much that it matters.

Denso Iridium Long Life or NGK OE Laser Iridium

Your Owners Manual lists those 2 brands with part numbers....confusing?

if you've never had this car, why are you giving advice?

if you've read hours of tech articles, you would have known toyota uses NGK/Denso.

if you go to the dealer, they'll tell you the same thing i posted previously.

Go with NGK.

The NGK Laser Iridium has a platinum ground pad. This reduces ground electrode wear so the plug can go 120K miles without replacement.

The NGK Iridium IX does not have the platinum ground pad. It's usually good up to 60K miles.

Both should be more efficient than the older platinum or "regular" spark plugs. The IX should give you an edge because of the thinner center electrode (not noticeable under typical circumstances however). But price wise Laser Iridium is the better bet at about 41 more.

Check rockauto.com for prices.

Always verify application by using the spark plug manufacturer's catalog:
