Grey front Rubber Hood weather stripping

Hi guys,

Anybody know if there is a way to "paint" or somehow obtain a color matched version of the rubber piece that sits between the bumper and hood?

The black works well with Black Cars but with other cars, it looks a little intrusive sometimes.

Can you please expound?

I use a bodyshop (which the dealership sends all their work to) that did my rear bumper cover after an accident and they matched it perfectly.

The fact that this is a rubber component may require more consideration, but if it works without cracks etc developing, that would be awesome.

Would an undercoat + regular coat be in order or just a layer or two of undercoat?
