You can check sites like kbb.com, edmunds.com, etc and will have plenty of numbers. Based on the following numbers, looks like the dealer is trying to hose you. But enter more accurate info yourself to find out. I think that Avalon is overpriced. Try to negotiate free maintenance and extended warranty WITHOUT putting down more $$$.
Also watch out for cold engine piston slap problems on the 3.5L.
