Clunk when starting off...
Hey guys. I have had my 2011 Camry for 7 full days now, and have put about 650 miles on it. I'm absolutely loving the car so far. I am curious about something though.
When you first start off after turning the car on, at around 5-10 MPH, there's a clunk or thunk from under the hood, just a single time. It's not the transmission shifting into 2nd gear. It's not the door locks locking. It seems to be speed senstive, and only the first time you drive off after turning it on. Though I never had this occur in my other vehicles, I have heard of the ABS pump priming itself when you first drive off. Does that make sense. Does anyone else's Camry do this? Mine's a 2011 base model, 2.5L with the 6-speed AT.
I need to take it to the dealer for a few things next week (one of the window tints is a little scratched, and the steering wheel isn't perfectly straight when driving down the road). If this is abnormal sounding, I'll add it to the list for them to check.
Many thanks.
