Help with an Odd Symptom
I have an 02 Solara SLE, 30k miles, with a very odd problem that just developed. My local mechanic couldn't fix it so I joined this forum hoping for some insight into the problem. When turning left or right from a stop sign, or when straightening the vehicle after a low speed turn, there is a single, light "thump" that can be felt through the gas pedal. Doesn't seem to be CV joints or tire issues. And I thought this was a fly-by-wire accelerator, so I don't know why I would be getting any pedal feedback. Any help is certainly appreciated. Thanks.
BTW: I posted in this section first because of the increased readership over the Solara section, and I would think it's a general question vice Solara only.
