Unhappy ipod/iphone issues with '10 Camry

I have checked through the forum and I can't find anyone mentioning this specific issue so if I'm wrong please link me but here is my issue. I recently just upgraded my car to a '10 camry hybrid and the car came fully loaded, sound system, interface, etc. I have an iphone 3gs and I hook it up to the USB interface of my system and it seems like I'm playing roulette with it detecting my songs. Sometimes it will show all of my music and start playing my first alphabetical song (annoying but I'll live with it unless someone has a fix for that too), sometimes it will show the USB as connected to an iphone but the song list will be blank, and sometimes it will say it could not find any songs. I know that BT is an option as well but I could never get the audio portion to work, just the cell phone (and from what I've read I'm supposed to connect the phone first then the music) but I'd like to be able to have my phone charging while I'm listening to music and not get that horrendous popping noise that the 3gs has when it's charging and playing music. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help or point me towards a solution I missed

I also have 3Gs iPhone and the jbl option. Works fine for me. Somtimes though I have to first play the music through the phone before pluging it in.

I'll give that a try. Were you ever able to get yours to connect via BT? I may not want to use it all the time but the geek in me wants to see it work

I do not think the radio supports A2DP...so I dont think playing music via BT is possible. I could be wrong.

With the iPhone you can set it up to play music via Bluetooth. You just can't control it from the radio. You have to change songs from the phone itself. Now the droid on the other hand you can control it through both the radio and phone. All with Bluetooth

Yea. When you sync ur phone with Bluetooth it gives you the option to say phone only. Or internal audio also. Say internal audio and it works.
