5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I have always wanted a trunk lip spoiler that was just a little bit bigger than the OEM one in order to add just a little bit more to the rear of the car. Does anyone have pictures comparing the RK Sport one to the OEM one? Hopefully someone attending the June 6th meet will have the RK Sport one installed on their Camry so that I can check it out in person. Let me know if you think I should stay with the OEM one or upgrade. Thanks.
One thing you might not have considered is the mounting points. I believe your OEM was a port install, so the holes drilled to secure the spoiler may be different.
have oem with no drilling. just held on by double sided tape. reason why mine is off center a bit too. any other way it wouldn't stick right.
rksport is real nice in person. idk i have oem so staying but i really love it on ross' car. maybe next time we meet i'll get some good comparo shots with him.

What if someone rips your spoiler off or the wind blows it off lol thatd suck. i want a carbon fiber oem style one.
I've had mine for 2 years now, wind, snow, rain, speeding, HUGE bumps on the highway and still nothing. In fact when i took it off to line it up right, it was a bitch to take off. You just have to make sure you put the tape in the right spot, where it's gonna have the most contact with the curve of the trunk.
ross is right... good luck taking mine off lol. special 3m tape used by my paint guy and he put on spoiler where there would be least pressure so would hold best. thats why it's a bit off center.
