#2. Never seen anyone leave it black
#3. Pics are in threads
lammydi has them and is someone in one of the threads I think.
I have it connected to a 2-way switch right now that controls the folding in and out of the mirror but I will probably redo it because i got a new OEM JDM switch assembly now.So look out for a DIY soon.
Here is where i got them from. They are a little more pricier than the ebay ones but i'm pretty sure they are exactly the same item. When i got them they didn't have the option of having a module but now they do offer it.I paid $291 shipped($223 for mirror asssembly+$68 for getting the cover painted).Came with no instruction so i had to go ask Njerald for help.Hope this helps you. http://www.autosignalparts.com/toyot...or-sae-rh.html

It says it comes with wiring to plug into existing wiring. I've seen them come with wiring but still required modification and wasnt plug and play.
Price is listed as $268 for both painted and unpainted. For that, I might as well get it painted. How is the paint quality?
i think someone should add this thread to info stickies. we have so many questions about these mirrors all the time that it should help.
with that module we have to see what it requires to get it all working. no matter what won't be plug and play. from what i remember the painted ones were very good quality per someone i spoke with. no way u can get them and have someone paint them for that cheap.

agreed with this being stickied..it has been discussed so many times and there are different sources to acquire the mirrors from..it would be really good if we could get links and information of every source that supply these kinds of mirrors...a discussion of the wiring well greatly benefit so many people here that have no clue how to wire them up
