5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I've been looking, but I can't seem to find anyone that knows where I can source a Aurion Supercharger to the United States. I would love to install that bad boy on my 2007 Lexus ES350. I believe it uses the same Engine for both applications.
Oh no! I guess this means I'll have to see if Squires Remote Mount Universal Turbo Technology will work with my ES350. Even an Extra 60 Ponies to the wheels would feel great especially in that "boat".

I believe the coilovers for the Gen 6 fits your car

supercharging isn't cheap and neither is turbo for that matter. For the amount of money it would cost to sucessfully turbo your ES350 you could just as easily trade up to a '07 or '08 545i (or better yet 550i)with naturally aspirated 325-360hp, all the room and comfort of your Lexus and handling that the ES350 can only have wet dreams about. At least that's what I would do if I were in your shoes and had the spare cash to blow
And btw I'm not a BMW salesman trolling the Toyota forum, I just callz it how I seez it.

That's cool, I just don't really want BMW's anymore. I had a couple in the past and they just didn't really "last". Here's a picture of one that I got rid of last year:
Here's a shot from the Engine Bay:
I'm just not a big fan of BMW's anymore. I really like their product, but especially the way my wife is she's more into the Lexus that I just purchased.
But yeah, I see where you're coming from. Bimmers aren't for everyone. They are great if you do your own maintenance and maintain them religiously. But if an easy and trouble free commuter is what you're looking for Lexus is the way to go, they are hands down the most reliable luxury brand. I just figured you might have been more performance-minded rather than reliability-minded since you were asking about adding power. My bad,
cheers,

But in all fairness, I suggested a 545/550 which aren't boosted. And I believe the HPFP fiasco was with the 07-08 3 series only. Using that same logic you could say "you can't maintain shitty transmissions" based on the problems with the 07 camry v6.

Well, I'll probably end up giving Squires Remote Turbo system a little research. Their Universal Setup is suppose to be "universal" so we'll see how that works out. I am performance oriented, but in this case it is more "a slight boost" from regular.
^ good luck and keep the forum updated if you decide to go ahead with the project. A few members here have experience with aftermarket turbo and can give u good info, but I don't know it anyone has done it on the 2gr-fe yet.

2gr has been done twice already. full custom turbos setups are required and u have to remember about boost spike. 1 of the cars are down bc of boost spike killing the motor.
if u want a boost then get some custom headers with custom exhaust and a fujita intake. then drop some megan coilovers for more handling and high performance brakes for braking.
u can also look into someone making a custom stroker kit for your car.

I definitely will, thanks ScrooYoo. I'm probably going to get in touch with STS about their Universal System tomorrow. I tried calling them today, but I guess at 5:47 p.m. PCT they were already closed. I know Member Peaches has given information regarding his friends 2GR-FE turbo, but I don't know how well that applies to the Lexus. We'll see!
