who wants hid comparison pics?

Just wondering...

Who would actually want pics of hid temp comparioson pics?

Have 4300k and 5000k available with both 35w and 55w ballasts to show the "washout" effect.

Pics or possible videos will be taken front the front and light projected onto a garage door.

Too much of a hassle to take road shots.

All pics will be taken in the gen6 projectors which display colour different than reflectors. Well from what I noticed hence why the 4300k is going to be replaced by 5000k bulbs or possibly 6000k bulbs in the future if the washout on the 55w is really noticeable.

Pretty much thinking of wall shots and shots from ahead.

I don't care about color difference pictures because anything above 5000K is a loss of light.

However, I AM interested to see the difference between 35W and 55W kits. Would you have such pictures of equal color to show?

Sounds good that was going to be one of the comparisons , 55w vs 35w was a huge problem for me in choosing a right temp and wattage. especially with the "Washout" .

Should be doing the shots tomorrow night since its been a nice week in ontario and its a friday night ... well you know where im going here. Unless its dark enough and im in the mood tonight before I go out ill do it , but most likely will be doing it tomorrow night around 11pm or so, so a thread should be up shortly after that, or sunday.

ps. anyone wondering ... still will be doing a remote start diy , just been delayed ... vids didnt turn out as expected but ill see what i can salvage from them. Just been putting it off

When I get the chance, I can provide a pic comparison of a 35w and 55w kit 6000k.

I have both. I am currently using the 55w kit though and very satisfied with it.

oh man i wish there was a thread like this when I was ordering!

had a dilemma ... had 35w 4300k , was alright on my accord (reflector) but on the projectors it wasnt that white with that hint of blue. Then 6000k is too blue for my likings , 5000k was perfect! then realized that 55w tend to wash out so 5000k could almost look like 4300k! Had thoughts of getting 6000k at one point .... I;ll see how it goes tonight !

maybe this thread could help others in their decision!!
