Gen6 Burning Housing gen6.5

Guys Recently I have ordered my Hids from DDM tuning.

As of now still in the mail. So i havn't installed yet
I bought the 8000K 55W With Harness
ddm /some ppl say
after sumtime it will come down to 6000K that i know.

Just paraniod that it still may burn the housing real bad...
Any Suggestions/ truly 55w will not burn? Really want 55W real bad
Consideration send the 55W back and go 35W?

What do you guys think?
Thanks Guys

It won't burn the housing as long as the bulb does not get loose and touch anything. A few members can chime in about this. Oh yeah, cover your squirrel spotters.

Then you put HIDs in your trunk and pop it open on people.

no he isnt, especially since he doesn't want to purposely blind people...

now, on topic aside, you're definitely fine w/ 55W bulbs. Just check your connections every 2 weeks (along with your oil and other stuff), and you should be good to go!

i dont think your 8000k will turn to 6000k. for ddm, i believe 6000k with 55w is the best since you get white with blue. unless you want pure blue, i guess 8000k will suffice.

oh i forgot to tell u.

color temperature does change, but it shifts UP. So 8000K will shift to about 8400-9000K after extended use... 4300K will shift to 5000K and so on.

If you're out to blind people and be unsafe on the road...have no courtesy towards others safety....your car and license should be taken away and you should not be allowed on the road.....
