Stone interior--what color for mats??

Hi all..

I am buying a clean 2003 Charcoal LE form a friend, very low miles.

I am 'sprucing it up', with stock alloy wheels, an exhaust tip, etc.

I plan to get factory mats..but I am undecided about getting the original stone color or maybe getting the dark charcoal.

I thought the charcoal would be nice contrast to the light interior and kind of go with the exterior.

Also, darker mats would hold up better against the dirt.

Anybody else done this? Any comments?

Go with the dark mats, like you said, contrast looks better

Color doesn't determine how well a mat holds up against dirt.

I'd go with the stone color. I have dark charcoal and once mud gets on it and dries, it becomes very noticeable
