Alright here's a little dilemma. I have a 12" Infinity sub with a amp and capacitor. The sub box is a bit bulky and takes up some space in the trunk.I've seen a couple boxes, but they're meant for two subs. Has anyone found a good site that has custom sub boxes that fit on the left or right side behind the taillights? or back up against the rear seat? if so...please enlighten me

There are a couple vendors making the stealth box types. Here one from JL but there are others who just sell the box
JL Audio Toyota Camry Gray Subwoofer Stealthbox - 94437
I built sub woofer box for the house. Never tried for a car.
Good luck
It's not that difficult and actually is always a fun project for me. Here my latest creation - a "stealth box" for 2x8" subs firing left/right (stealth because the subs are hidden behind the panel) and an Infinity amp...all fitting under a convertible booth. I also added subfloor with a latch to get access to the spare w/o removing anything. To do these is relaxing work for me.

I guess I forgot your not looking for the sound I want in my house, as you have all that wind and road noise in a car. I was thinking perfection when spending that kind of money

...you lost me, so we should not spend any money as it is all wasted in your mind? The sound in my car might be better than you think...

Dropping my sarcasm, when you go outside very predefined specs for a certain speaker what comes out degrades what you hear. He gave a very specific speaker. Hence I gave links to what will give him the best sound for a specific speaker.
Sounds like a fun weekend project, Dave... Txt me if you want help... I'm looking to build some custom speaker boxes as well... we can hit up a HD or Lowes for some MDF wood
if you want space saving in the trunk...go for a sealed box 1.5 cube will do and its a real easy build since you dont have to deal with a a port and what not.....if your not a master wood worker have some some build you a box of where you want that sub placed...

i like that amp rack let me steal that idea lol jk...im still figuring out where to mount all my amps....got 3 total amps but still undecided on where to mount them plus still figuring out what sub or subs to get.....oh yeah is if your amps running hot (probably not) mount pc fans in those holes to get more air coming through 2 fans pushing air in and 2 fans pushing air out..

How's the sound?? looks like there's not enough volume for the subs

Surprisingly good. There are 2 8" left and right behind the cover firing left/right. These only need 0.26cf sealed boxes each, which are in one little box. They give a nice crisp bass and enough punch for my taste.
3/4" mdf, dont forget glue! and make pilot holes for all of your scrwes!
