It means there's something wrong with the A/C. Could be low on freon (bubbles in sight glass), clutch problem, etc.

Mine was due to a relay for the AC clutch not working all the time. Swap it with the one next to it (in the fuse box over the left tire under the hood) If it works replace the relay. Or just leave them swaped.
