alarm sounding...why?

'10 xle 4 cylinder, about 4800 miles. Starting yesterday, alarm went off 3 times while car was parked in driveway. Nobody around. Opened and closed all doors, trunk, hood, moonroof. Happened again today 2 times. Leaving unlocked till fixed. Any ideas?. Never happened before. Ready to visit dealer.

Perhaps the glass breakage sensor is set a little tight. Set the alarm and then tap hard on the window to see if it goes off them.

OEM shouldn't come with a glass breakage sensor, only the toyota vip alarm system have it i believe. I'd have the dealer check it out, only other thing i can think of is that your panic button on the remote is stuck or something.

I have had this happen several times in the past six years. The panic button seems to be too touchy on one of the remotes.

Saw dealer this AM. Very quickly found a faulty hood switch. Part ordered for Monday, and I was given an '11 Camry loaner with 6 miles on it.
