recirculation button 2007 TCH

2007 TCH with plazmacluster

every time i turn the car on, recirculation button is automatically on in climate controls.

1st, i have always believed the default setting should be "fresh", or outside airflow.
2nd, i like slight breeze coming from the vents while driving, but recirculation blocks this. and it gets steamy inside way too fast.

is there any way to reset the system so that it starts in the "fresh" mode?

consulted with manual, did not find much help.

thank you.
