Hello Camry People!
I am currently working on blacking out a 2011 Camry SE V6 for my showroom. I have been trying to track down some blacked out tail lights that will look cool. I found a set on CarID.com that are called "JDM Black LED Tail Lights", the problem is, I'm not 100% positive these will work as the website is claiming they only fit up to MY2009. Now, I've taken into consideration that some of these sites may not be 100% accurate in their claims, but it does make sense seeing as the Camry tail lights switched over to LED bulbs in 2010.
So my question is this: Does anyone out there in Camry land have a dependable website that I can shop for aftermarket tail lights with black housings that will fit a 2010-11??? I just don't want to order the part, find out it doesn't fit, then send it back and be back to square one.
And I know someone will bring it up, but no. Smoking out the lenses is not an option. Per my conversation with the RI State Police, it is illegal to change the color or shade of the light being emitted from the taillights. So whatever tail lights I end up with have to have a clear exterior lense.
Any advice will be GREATLY appreciated.
