When i am going in reverse in my car i hear a sound like chains dragging. Anyone have any idea what this might be? I am lowered on megan coils if that makes a difference, and my car is an 07 camry se v6
You said it sounds like chains dragging. Usually dragging sounds only come from something dragging.
Well make a video clip of the sound from inside and outside and try to pinpoint where its coming from exactly hard to diagnose a problem when you don't have it in front of you.
its also hard to pinpoint a problem when you have to have the car moving to hear it which means your driving it which also means you are not able to be outside the car to hear where its comming from, I am in the bay area tho, maybe I can ghost ride it haha

Haha bin there done that boredom kills although i never did it while the car was in reverse careful not to get smacked down by your door. Have a buddy or something drive the car while you record or have someone record while you drive its replicable right? Dose it happen everywhere or only flat surfaces or angled surfaces need specific details lol. My car makes noise whats wrong is way to broad to come to any conclusions lol.
This will be a good time to try out my new iphone video, maybe i can get my brother or someone else to help record it later, I get out of here at 8 tonight
I thought I was going crazy, I've been hearing the same damn sound whenever I drive next to a concrete barrier or similar .Just can't pinpoint the location. It sounds more like an excuse for trade-in
Ok here is a link to the video, sorry about my brother, I know he gives his opinion, but he also doesnt even have a license let a lone a car lol, anyways you can hear it at the beggining and end of the video also while he is talking just not as much
