I did a test in my camry... The two 12v socket (one in the front and the one beside the conductor) is on the 20amp Power Outlet FUSE.....
I want to know what is on the 20amp CIG fuse.... I didn't find anything yet for the moment.....
I want to know this because i plan vacation... i have to plug GPS, 12v cooler, etc... i wanted to split the power between the two socket but they are on the same fuse... so now i try to find where is the CIG Socket....
if someone know can you tell me!
Sorry if my english is not so good, i'ts my second language.
Im not really sure what your asking, you can probably find that fuse in the fuse box under the dash. if your just using those two things thats going to plug into cig outlets, i doubt your going to use more than 120watts which is the safe zone that is stated on the inside of the cig cover.

Thank you
Get a fuse tap and extend it to the cooler. The CIG fuse position isn't used on the Gen 6, it's a carry over from the Gen 5. Gen 6 prints don't indicate any wired connection to that fuse slot outside of the fuse holders.

well, i talked to a tech a my toyota dealer.... they can't put anything on the CIG Fuse.... They already try to put equipment on it and make more trouble....
i don't know how to say exactly in english... but apparently that fuse is like a security for other thing.....
The solution is to get a new circuit directly from the battery with a separte fuse out of the fusebox of the camry....
I will try to do it myself... it will cost less then toyota charge for this!

Have a nice day!
It may be that the person who tested the "CIG" fuse pulled the wrong one which could have been the ECU-ACC fuse, above the "CIG" fuse. The ECU-ACC fuse pulled would cause the security issue and several other electrical problems you described.
