Gen6 Transmission Drain and Fill procedure on 2007+ Camry V6?

Has anyone done a Tranny Drain and Fill on this vehicle? I know Toyota claims ATF WS is a "lifetime" fluid and that this tranny needs no servicing unless you have a fluid leak. But i can't see any harm on doing a drain and fill. Just want to know if anyone has done this and can offer any tips. Also i do not have the special service tool to tell me when the tranny temp is in correct range; so i figured i'd just add back in whatever drains out. No harm in that, right? Comments? Pointers? Tips?

Thanks in advance for your input.

There are posts on 'flushing' the AT. With the fluid warm, drain it and carefully measure how much you drain out. Refill with a like amount. Drive the car and repeat the procedure two or three more times. You have essentially done what a flushing machine will do. Some individuals have disconnected the oil cooler in line and let the AT pump the fluid off. I don't think there is any difference. Other members have experience doing their own AT flush, andI am sure they will help you.

The 6 speed transmission refill requires specific temperatures and specific procedures for a competent job. I would trust nobody outside of an authorized dealer for this job. Search. This has been discussed before.
